Mix Design Group is engaged in protecting the environment by carefully planning and choosing with our production group, sustainable "Green" products to all our projects in order to significantly reduce waste and pollution.


Avi Dunkelman, AOCA, AGS Associate Professor, OCAD University

Avi Dunkelman graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto. Upon his graduation he worked for Gottschalk+Ash International in Toronto. In 1981 he moved to Basel, Switzerland to pursue his degree in Advanced Studies in Graphic Design and in 1984 he graduated from the prestigious Alegemine Gewerbeschule. Avi studied under the mastership and the influence of world-renowned designers that shaped his approach to design. While in Switzerland, he worked for Gottschalk+Ash International in Zurich where he worked on large projects for major Swiss Corporations.

Upon his return to Toronto, he continued working for several well known design firms prior to founding his own design firm based in Toronto in 1986. His firm has created a wide variety of projects for Canadian and international clients such as; Alfred Sung, Bell Canada, Canada Trust, Canada Post Corporation, KPMG, Optech-Subb / Sweden, Asset Management / Miami Florida, CGM / Chicago, 6 Sense / Orlando Florida, Deloite Touche Tohmatsu / Ireland, IL Casone / Florence Italy, Lexton / Zurich and Eldor Consulting / Tel Aviv just to name a few. Avi Dunkelman has over 25 years of experience balancing business and teaching. With his broad knowledge in communications, he is respected by his clients for his strategically driven and collaborative process, and for delivering successful and revenue driven design solutions.

Avi Dunkelman has taught design and branding at OCAD University since 1988 and in 2001 he became an Associate Professor and a permanent faculty member. He has lectured at the Faculty of Landscape and Architecture at University of Toronto.

Joseph Gault, AGS

Joseph Gault is a multi-award winning graphic designer with over 25 years of experience working at many of Canada's major design firms. He won the Design Canada Grant, which enabled Joseph to study at the prestigious Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel, Switzerland. There he completed his formal training with a degree in Advanced Graphic Design.

Joseph has worked extensively with Canada Post Corporation and has produced many beautiful and distinctive stamps. He has also taught graphic design at the OCAD University, Ryerson University, University of Toronto, York University, Sheridan College and George Brown College.

He has worked with companies such as Canada Post Corporation, University of Toronto, Ministry of Citizenship and Tourism and The Niagara Parks Commission. He has won awards in Canada, the US and Europe. His most recent set of stamps, The Year of the Dog is one of Canada Post's Corporation most prestigious programs and won the best international stamp of 2007 by the Chinese Government.
